All tools run 100% in your browser. Salary, address, images NEVER leave your device. No upload to server. We do not store personal data. We use: - No Google Analytics by default (you can add Plausible or GA if you want, anonymized) - Stripe — if you buy Pro, Stripe handles payment, we don't see card numbers. Email is used only for license verification. - Local storage only for Pro status (email) and background remover daily usage count {count, date} — resets daily, no tracking.
Pro access is verified via Stripe Checkout session ID. After payment, you are redirected to thank-you page with session_id. Server (or demo client check) verifies payment_status=paid via Stripe API and sets secure access. URL params ?pro=true are supported for demo convenience and cleaned via history.replaceState.
In production, we use httpOnly secure cookie set by Supabase Edge Function / Cloudflare Worker after verifying Stripe session. See example in source code comments.
